As promised, Marketlife, the introductory guide to selling at artisan shows is here. Available here at the market website, it answers many of the questions that those new to shows often have - what do I bring, how do I find prices for my items, what are the most essential marketing tools that I should be using, and more.
As I wrote Marketlife, all I could think was "wow, there's so much more to be said about each of these topics". I could have written individual books on each of them, but to start off the conversation, I decided it would be best, and most useful, to start with an overview. It's a way of building a foundation - one that can be built on, if a need for additional, topic-specific expertise reveals itself.
If you purchase the book, don't hesitate to send me feedback - things you found helpful, as well as those topics that could be fleshed out more, or which could be made more helpful in some way.
Happy selling, and good luck as you get ready for the market season, sellers!
