CONCORD ARTS MARKET VENDOR INFO
Find the ARTIST APPLICATION here and the YOUTH (18 and Under) APPLICATION here. COVID-19 Policies: We will continue to work with the City of Concord to ensure we follow all COVID-19 safety precautions. All vendors must agree to follow all COVID-19 protocols in order to participate in the Concord Arts Market. Please contact us for the current policies. What To Expect: Outdoor selling is fun, exciting, and a great way to meet your audience face to face. It is also rain or shine, and there are NO early departures. Some days you may sell very well, some days nothing. We want you to understand what you're signing up for when you sign up. That said, it's also a great way to network, and for many artists and artisans, a great way to sell. Our goal is to provide the highest quality event at the smallest possible cost to participants. We seek to offer a variety of quality artisan crafts and fine art that a broad audience can enjoy. That may, by default, result in limits to some categories, depending on who has applied for that season or for that date. Please take a close look at the information below, and contact us if you have any questions. Vendor Types:
Community-focused Groups, Non-profits or Educational Groups: You may request booth space to promote community-focused programs and activities. Space will be offered free of charge as space allows. No selling is allowed without prior approval. Location: All Art in the Park markets are at Rollins Park (116 Broadway) in Concord, NH. CAM at Intown Concord's Market Days Festival takes place on Pleasant Street, and First Fridays with Intown Concord are in Bicentennial Square downtown. Dates for 2024 (May-November):
Times: Art in Park runs from 10am to 3pm, First Fridays are from 4-8pm and CAM at Market Days Festival is 10am-8pm. Set-up times will be scheduled based on booth locations. You may request an earlier or later set-up time once your application has been accepted. You will receive set-up instructions prior to each date that you participate (usually on the Monday of the week of each market). For Art in the Park, all vendors must be cleaned up and out of the park by 4pm. Early Departure: Early departure from any market is NOT allowed. If an emergency arises and you need to leave early, please notify market staff immediately so that arrangements can be made. The success of the market depends on the commitment of the participating artists. Additionally, the liability issues created by moving vehicles and displays while the venue is open to the public create a hazard to the event. Trash: Trash is carry-in/carry-out by each vendor at each location. Tables, Tents, Displays, Weights:
THE GOOD NEWS? THERE ARE MANY INEXPENSIVE WAYS TO WEIGHT YOUR TENT. Here is a link to one of those: Making Canopy or Tent weights for trade shows or art shows.
Cancellations/Weather Policy: We are a rain or shine event. The success of the market is dependent on the commitment of participating artists to the event and to fellow artists. Artists who do not attend an event due to weather risk forfeiting their spot at future Concord Arts Market events with no refunds of booth fees. In the event of potentially dangerous weather conditions in the forecast, please check the market website or FB page after 6:30am to confirm whether the market will proceed on that day. We take safety very seriously and may cancel or close an event early in the event of potentially dangerous weather conditions in the forecast (including high winds, lightning and heavy rain). If an event is cancelled or closed early due to weather, refunds will not be issued, the market will not be rescheduled and the registration fee cannot be applied to another market. NEW in 2024 - Fair Weather Waitlist: If you know you are unable to attend an event in inclement weather, you can apply to be considered for the Fair Weather Waitlist. A spot will not be held for you, but if a spot is available the week of each event, we may contact you to see if you're interested in attending that week. You will only pay a booth fee if you agree to attend that week. This helps to ensure that our rain or shine event has participating artists and keeps you from spending money on non-refundable booth fees. |
We pride ourselves in the community spirit of the Concord Arts Market! We are always looking for vendors who are willing to be flexible and to help each other. You'll find us weathering all elements in the summer outdoor market, long hours at Market Days and quirky indoor spaces during winter markets.
