COVID-19 Policies: We will continue to work with the City of Concord to ensure we follow all COVID-19 safety precautions. All vendors must agree to follow all COVID-19 protocols in order to participate in the Concord Arts Market. Please contact us for the current policies. What To Expect: Outdoor selling is fun, exciting, and a great way to meet your audience face to face. It is also rain or shine, and there are NO early departures. Some days you may sell very well, some days nothing. We want you to understand what you're signing up for when you sign up. That said, it's also a great way to network, and for many artists and artisans, a great way to sell. Our goal is to provide the highest quality event at the smallest possible cost to participants. We seek to offer a variety of quality artisan crafts and fine art that a broad audience can enjoy. That may, by default, result in limits to some categories, depending on who has applied for that season or for that date. Please take a close look at the information below, and contact us if you have any questions. Vendor Types:
Community-focused groups, non-profits or educational groups: You may request booth space to promote community-focused programs and activities. Space will be offered free of charge as space allows. No selling is allowed without prior approval. Location: All markets are at Rollins Park (116 Broadway) in Concord, NH, except during Intown Concord's Market Days Festival which takes place on Pleasant Street downtown. Dates for Summer/Fall 2023:
Times: The arts market in Rollins Park runs from 10am to 3pm. Vendors may set-up during their scheduled set-up time (which will be after 8am) and will depend on your location in the park. You will receive set-up instructions prior to each date that you participate (usually on the Monday of the week of each market). All vendors must be cleaned up and out of the park by 4pm. Trash is carry-in/carry-out by each vendor. Early Departure: Early departure from the market is NOT allowed. If you have an emergency arise and need to leave early, please notify market staff immediately so that arrangements can be made. The success of the market depends on the commitment of the participating artists. Additionally, the liability issues created by moving vehicles and displays while the venue is open to the public create a hazard to the event. Tables, Tents, Displays, Weights:

Cancellations/Weather Policy: We are a rain or shine event. The success of the market is dependent on the commitment of participating artists to the event and to fellow artists. There are no refunds given for no-shows. However, in the event of potentially dangerous weather conditions in the forecast, please check the market website or FB page after 6:30am to confirm whether the market will proceed on that day. We take safety very seriously. We will not issue refunds on such dates - alas, we cannot control the weather. |

How to Apply: To apply to participate in the Concord Arts Market Summer Arts Market, complete the online application: APPLICATION FORM Your application will be reviewed by our selection committee and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Please understand that at certain times of year we receive a HIGH volume of email and it may take a few days to get back to you. However, we don't mind you writing to check in. Concord Arts Market Selection Committee: All of our selection committee members are creators themselves, who truly appreciate the work that goes into each creation shared with them. The jury reserves the right to update participating vendors at its discretion to keep the mix of goods both balanced and diverse. 2023 Summer/Fall Arts Market in Rollins Park Booth Fees:
Market Days Applications and Booth Fees: Applications for the Concord Arts Market at Market Days Festival will be accepted until April 1. Applicants will be informed of acceptance by April 15. Application is not a guarantee of participation. This is a popular event - first consideration will be given to past participants and regular participants of the Concord Arts Market, as well as vendors with unique products. It is a requirement that all CAM Market Days vendors participate in at least one regular arts market in Rollins Park from June-October. If there are any spots remaining after April 15, vendors who are unable to participate in one regular arts market in Rollins Park may be considered. Market Days booth reservation is official upon receipt of payment which is due 7 days from acceptance. The fee to attend Market Days as a Concord Arts Market vendor is $185 and includes all three days, 10am-8pm. We always have a wait list for Market Days; if payment is not made in time, we will assume you are not coming this year. The booth fee is non-refundable. Market Days is a rain or shine event. Early departures are not allowed. You must attend all three days, unless previous exceptional arrangements are made.
Indemnification: Vendors are recommended to have their own general liability insurance. Vendors are solely responsible for damages resulting from the sale of unsafe or unsound goods, in addition to any accidents occurred while at the Concord Arts Market. Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Concord Arts Market, Christa Zuber (Producer of the Concord Arts Market), the City of Concord, Intown Concord, as well as their affiliates/employees/agents from any and all liability, loss or damages which may be incurred as a result of all claims, demands, costs, judgments or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from the vendor’s participation in the Concord Arts Market.
Promotional Materials: Vendors understand and agree their name, business name, website(s), social media website(s) and any photos, video, item description and prices may be used for promotional use by the Concord Arts Market. |
