In September of 2008, Concord Arts Market became the first outdoor, weekly, juried arts market in New Hampshire. Five years later, Dover Arts Market and Claremont Arts Market were born. Concord and Dover have rooted themselves as weekly venues, and Claremont Arts Market is in continued development.
Concord Arts Market
The award-winning Concord Arts Market was founded in the Fall of 2008, in downtown Concord, NH. CAM is a weekly, juried outdoor artisan and fine art market. It was NH's very first event of its kind.
The market gives artists and artisans an opportunity to connect with the greater community, integrates artists more visibly into the fabric of daily life, creates opportunity for artists to profit from their handwork, contributes to the economic health of the community and showcases artist work within a selective and professional venue.
The market gives the Concord community, as well as the State of NH a destination event, and works to connect the community and the artists and artisans themselves to the greater region. The market receives regular press and reader's poll nods, and in Summer of 2009 received a Best of NH Editor's Choice award from New Hampshire Magazine.
